Wags and Scruffs is a 5 star licensed and Insured family run Doggy Daycare and home boarding care service. We cover the areas of London Borough of Havering.
We offer day care, walks, puppy stay & plays sessions and family home boarding, catering exclusively for small and medium sized dogs.
The wellbeing of our dogs is always our first priority. Our team ensures that your faithful friend always comes home happy at the end of the day.
Our dog services at Wags & Scruffs takes the stress and worry away from leaving your pets whilst you are away or just out for the day. We will take care of your pet's daily care routines as well as offering you extra home security. We believe that our bespoke care and professional service will give you complete peace of mind in knowing your pet is our priority.
Their happiness and care is our prime concern and we strive to provide a service we would want our own pets to receive.
At the very heart of what we do is our attention to detail and our commitment to excellent customer service. We genuinely care about all of our clients and their dogs and have built up long standing relationships with many of them. We work tirelessly to accommodate our customers’ changing schedules, varying requests and adapt to your dogs’ evolving needs.
Our daycare facilities include a secure family garden with artificial grass (no muddy dogs), high secure fences, dog trampoline, paddling pool, ball bit and lots of stimulation toys.
For rainy days we have "The dog house family room" consisting of comfortable sofas, armchairs, dog beds and a large TV to watch all the latest dog movies.
Our team of dog carers are always on hand to give lots of hugs and cuddles. As a family run business all dogs have consistency of carers with the added bonus of volunteers from the local animal college and schools joining us for work experience.
Poppy has been going to stay and play every Thursday since the start of the year and it is the best thing we have done, as a rescue we were naturally nervous about how she would be around the other dogs and being away from us, but she honestly loves it and gets so excited when she sees all the staff there 💖 she stayed for 2 weeks in April and we had no concerns, Vanessa and Richard sent us lots of pictures and videos and she looked like she was having the best time!
Looking back at how she was when she started to now, she is like a completely different dog!

Millie has been going to Wags and Scruffs for play sessions for a few weeks now. She is 6 years old but due to her background before we got her, she has separation anxiety and hates being parted from us. Vanessa and the team understood this and instead of saying they couldn’t take her, a plan was put in place to slowly introduce Millie to the fold. Within a few days Millie became a different dog, running around and joining in with the other doggies! When it’s time to come home she comes out excited wagging her tail like mad after the fab afternoon she’s just had! We get sent regular videos and updates so we can see what she’s been up to. When it’s time for occasional full day care and eventually the odd home boarding, we know Millie will be in excellent expert hands 🤗

Our Nelly has been going to daycare for a few months now and absolutely loves it there. She has lots of fun with the other dogs and there’s always a theme going on. The photos and videos are lovely to see. She also boarded there for a few days and was so looked after by the lovely staff. Highly recommended.

Five star treatment ! Thank you Vanessa , Richard and the Waggy crew, our dogs absolutely loved spending their 2 week vacation with you and look forward to Friday club they actually wait by the door ready to go !! Highly recommended the Waggs and Scruffs crew know what they are doing and understand different breeds and their characteristic traits - thank you from all of us - you made our holiday more enjoyable knowing the boys were in safe hands and we loved getting pictures and videos to reassure us 😀

Chalky has been going to Wags and Scruffs play and stay dates since March, he was a very nervous and sometimes reactive boy, it wasn’t great taking him for a walk.
Since attending he is much more confident and it is an absolute pleasure to walk. Thank you for everything you’ve done for him and the little bit of magic you’ve sprinkled on him ❤️

Cannot recommend Wags & Scruffs highly enough. My dog absolutely loves it and the play sessions she has been attending have been invaluable. She's really happy, confident and social with other dogs she meets now and she gets so excited when we're on our way there! Hoping to use the other services they offer soon.

The service Wags and Scruffs provide is something else!! They are so lovely, friendly, welcoming, treat your dog like their own. My Hugo loves going there, I get videos and photos of his time there and can see that he is happy and having fun! It’s such a comfort to know that my boy is loved and looked after and I don’t need to worry. I can’t thank Vanessa, Richard and the team enough! Truly amazing.

The area for the dogs are really designed well for them and their stimulation and relaxation.

Beau has been going day care since he was six months old he absolutely loves it he sits up the window waiting for the van to pull up and then goes running out he can’t wait to go he has boarded a few times and it’s clear from the videos that he has such a great time all the team are brilliant and clearly love what they do thank you to everyone at wags and scruffs
